Each year, Killerton invite local groups to decorate their very own tree on the estate. This year's theme is inspired by the internationally acclaimed art installation The Red Dress by Kirstie Macleod, an extraordinary piece of collaborative embroidery created over 14 years by 380 people from 51 countries. The dress weaves together powerful stories of identity, culture and community.

To celebrate these themes, St David's Community Builder Zoe brought together handmade colourful wool decorations from three different community groups:

  • Sparkly snowflakes made by Newtown Crochet group

  • Pompoms and hats made by Thursday Activity group

  • Felt baubles made by members of Magic Carpet art group

You can find this amazing tree in the Killerton reception area!
