Cowick Roots & Recreation

Cowick Roots & Recreation is a community group made up of St Thomas and Alphington residents who have a shared goal of bringing the local community together and sharing ideas and skills to improve Cowick Barton Park and Pinces Gardens for wildlife and people.

This year’s Wisteria Garden party attracted 1500 people. There were stalls, kid’s activities, workshops, music, food and more.

The group have planted a community orchard around the park, are hoping to develop a community garden, install notice boards, run nature-based activities and are in the process of applying for a defibrillator.
