Wellbeing Exeter were honoured to take part and make a presentation at the Devon Social Prescribing Conference on Tuesday 18 November 2025 at the Jan Cutting Healthy Living Centre. It was a valuable opportunity to share knowledge, celebrate innovation and strengthen connections across Devon’s social prescribing community. You can read more about it here in the press release. Highlights included:

 

  • Keynote by Dr Michael Dixon on the past, present, and future of social prescribing.

  • CYP Social Prescribing with Dr Daisy Robinson and Youth Link Worker Beth Bramble.

  • The Strength of Collaboration from Joe Harman, Wolseley Trust Healthy Futures Service.

  • Community Connection Models from Exeter CoLab & Wellbeing Exeter.

  • Insights from Camilla Rooney around adapting social prescribing to work for rural communities,  and Jake Price on health coaching in practice.

  • Digital tools to support social prescribing journeys, introduced by Gavin Jones (MySoc app).

  • Community projects like Growing Well Garden (Susan Taheri), and channelling innovation in the Southwest through Neighbourhood Health Innovation (Nikki Taylor & Martha Rees).
