In October, a local resident (Cori) had the idea to do a Christmas trail in her neighbourhood and got in touch with Zoe, her local Community Builder.

Cori had never done a trail before, and she and Zoe shared ideas for how it might look and what to do next.

In a short space of time, Cori got 24 houses to join a 'window advent' trail, setting up a display for each day in December.

Cori and Zoe worked together on a trail poster, and asked another neighbourhood in Pinhoe to share photos of their advent windows to provide inspiration.

The Community Builder also got in touch with UTAX UK Ltd Community Print Project, who were able to provide printed trail sheets, which residents could collect at the local Hill Barton Vale Little Free Library.

The local Residents Association also donated chocolate trail prizes!

Cori said: “I’ve not done anything like it before. We literally wouldn’t be doing this without your help - thank you so much”.

Utax Printers said: “So glad we could support this with the Community Print Project”.

What a fantastic festive community project!
