The next Loneliness Awareness Week will take place from 9 -15 June 2025. Meeting Loneliness Together, this year's theme, is all about reducing the stigma around this natural human emotion.
Loneliness Awareness Week is a powerful campaign dedicated to raising awareness and breaking the stigma around loneliness. It’s all about creating supportive communities through open, honest conversations.
Loneliness is a natural human emotion — we’re wired for connection. Talking about it helps us better support ourselves and each other.
The campaign has made a huge impact, reaching 271.5 million people in one week. Each year, tens of thousands of individuals and organisations get involved — from charities and community groups to the Royal Family, the Prime Minister, and NHS trusts.
This collective effort sends a clear message: loneliness affects everyone, and talking about it can make a real difference.
Join the conversation. Support the movement. Let’s make loneliness something we all talk about.
