InExeter is Exeter’s business improvement district (BID), a not-for-profit organisation supporting local businesses and drive positive change.

After successful events last year, InExeter brought back Neighbourhood Action Days - bringing businesses and residents together to make a positive impact on our local area.

The events were shared through local noticeboards, social media and the local community builders.

The first two action days took place on South Street and Sidwell Street and involved litter picking, weeding, planting new areas and renovating street furniture.

Zoe, St David’s Community Builder, joined in on the South Street event. She said: “It was so nice to meet new people, work together to improve the space and talk to passers by who thanked us for our hard work!”

These collective efforts are happening across the city, as there are several community gardens which meet on a regular basis and share knowledge and produce. Get in touch with your local community builder to find out about the community gardens near you.

If you would like to join in next Neighbourhood Action Days, get in touch with InExeter.
