What are you passionate about? And what can we do together?
Zoe, Pinhoe’s Community Builder, has been chatting to local residents in Pinhoe, who wanted get people together to bring positive change, but didn't know where to start.
Zoe suggested a Neighbours Connect pop up, where people bring tea and cake to start conversations about what people want to do where they live.

Neighbours highlighted the pop ups on Facebook, and Zoe was joined by her colleagues Jemima (Whipton Community Builder) and Charlotte (Community Physical Activity Organiser) to spread the word through flyers.
After one sunny evening, some residents decided to set up a WhatsApp group and it gained 24 members in 24 hours! They are already planning a local litter pick, among other ideas.
In the another part of Pinhoe, residents decided to set up a regularly monthly gathering to progress ideas, from a summer reading event to getting a local pizza van to visit the estate.
Would you like to set up a tea & cake pop up with your neighbours? Get in touch with your local Community Builder, you can find out who they are here.
